Backend developers build the engine behind the product: APIs, databases, payments and integrations. We hire for Node.js, Python, Java, Go, PHP and .NET, from middle to lead level.
What the role does
- Design and build APIs and services
- Integrate payment, identity and third-party providers
- Model data and keep databases fast and reliable
- Write tests and take part in code review
- Monitor, debug and improve performance in production

Ideal background
- 2+ years building production backends
- Experience with transactional or high-traffic systems
- Has worked with payments or external provider APIs
